What do you think is wrong with my heart?

Question:
I have been having sharp chest pains everytime I take a breath. It doesnt severely hurt or anything. The pains come and go. Some hurt more than others. If you've had this before and/or know what this could be, please let me know..Thank you

Answers:
It could be any of the following:

1) heart burn/ acid reflux
2) heart murmur/minor heart defect
3) something to do with your lungs rather than your heart - do you smoke? When you breathe your lungs expand and press against your ribcage and it could be damage to your lung in some way.
4) it could be your rib, or damage to the cartiledge of your rib
5) it could be a pulled muscle in your rib cage or the underlining of it, your screenname suggests you play volleyball, and maybe when you breathe it could be hurting you.
6) are you bulimic? It could be all the acid from vomit forcing its way through your throat and now when you breathe it might hurt because of how tender and sore you are inside.

Go to the doctor.

Other Answers:
Why haven't you gone to a Dr? Heart problems are very serious. Do you want to drop dead?
Why are you taking your time to write this question instead of taking less time calling your doctor?
it could be a muscle that is injured or it could be something serious. go see a doctor..better to be safe.
Maybe pleurisy or atelectasis? Anytime you have pain in your chest, you need to get it checked out.
