Can hiv, be passed through a fingernail scratch, there was not any visible blood?
Question:
Answers:
Absolutely not!
HIV can only be transmitted through bodily fluids. Blood and seaman to be exact. Although saliva can carry the disease it needs to make direct contact with an open wound for any possibility of transmission. HIV does not stay alive outside of the body. The finger nails of an infected person would have to have very fresh blood on them and need to break the skin and draw blood for any chance of transmission. Even then the chances would be smaller than the flea on a fleas *** (another word for backside.)
Don't listen to the fools out there that want to scare you.
Other Answers:
yes
yes, any open cut or scratch, even if you have a cold sore. both must have a open wound tho. not just one with a open finger nail scratch. Not unless there was semen or saliva on what caused the scratch and if there was no blood it could not have entered the blood stream anyway..Don't worry
