anyone had any info on duragesic patches for back pain do they work?

Question:

Answers:
i have been using duragesic (or the generic equivalent) for a couple of years now and the pain relief is remarkable. it kind of depends on the complexity of your pain; i sure know when i forgot to change them when i was supposed to. you may want to check with your doctor about the TENS machine which is an electrical stimulator. it works incredibly well; the only real downside is that i have trouble getting the electrodes to stick well. you can also get electrical stimulator implants and, really, i think the electrical stim. is the best of all. i don't have the implant but will consider it in the future. when the electrodes stick properly my pain disappears.

I have never used them but a co worker of mine does and they help her alot, though they make her itchy.

Duragesc patches do help with chronic and acute pains. Lidoderm patches are also very effective. Personally, I like using a TENS unit. The TENS unit sends electric impulses to the affected area, and tricks the brain into thinking there is no or little pain. It works great for me, and I don't have to worry about using drugs. Which is a big plus for me, because I can work/ drive/ interact without any problems. It's the difference between living, and being disabled.
