There are none. Men spread it to females because there are no signs or symptoms. The only way a guy would know he would have HPV is by having warts. Genital warts, hand, and feet warts, are all caused by certain kinds of HPV. I have read there are anywhere from 30-100 different kinds. Also, and it's really rare, you can develop rectal and penile cancer.

Warts. Lots of them normally. Even if you have small ones, a dab of vinegar will cause them to temporarily swell so you can see and identify them. Check out the NIH website at www.nih.gov and type in HPV. You'll get a lot of info and pictures. I advise going to a urologist if you think you have an STD. They know their stuff.

HPV is for both men and women, but more serious in women as it often leads to cancer of the cervix.

FYI. the warts can be very small so that they are not noticeable. Always assume he's contagious once he's aware he has it. Like other viruses, they recur from time to time and it's not like we do closeup inspections before every time! LOL

men can not get high risk HPV (the one that causes cervical cancer) but they can carry it and can give it from one girl to another (there is no way to test weather a man carrys high risk HPV)

men can get low risk HPV (the kind that causes warts) but it dosnt always show symptoms

80% of the population of michigan (where I live) carrys or has HPV thats why it is so important to always use condoms and to have a pap smear every year form the first time you get your period (not the first time you have sex)
