That is pretty common to have thrush after albuterol or xopenex or advair treatments. If she rionses her mouth out with water after each treatment it won't happen again.
Ask the local pharmacist what is in Popovic mixture but maybe it is a local recipe for "magic mouthwash" which is Bendryl, Lidocaine, and Maalox or mylanta mixed together....
I just had thrush a few weeks ago. I don't know what popovic mixture is however, I can say that the nystantin works well and I was also given dyflucan intravenously. I had thrush so bad that it immobilized my vocal cords. best of luck to her and be forewarned her mouth will be sore for some time. I still am limited on what I can eat and I got rid of the thrush well over a week ago.
