What do you do when you're waiting for an answer?

Question:
My husband spent the last year and a half on chemo and surgery and the last chemo was in Feb. The blood AFP test was normal back then and then it rose again and 2 more tumours were found. The oncologist wants to give his body a break from the chemo as it's harmful to the body obviously.

Answers:
waiting is the hardest part. I have cancer of the tongue right now waiting for a surgeon appt 6/26. It's hard. I have taken the time to watch movies comedies to make me laugh, take my mind off it, then I have been researching all about treatments, not just chemo but alternative, things to do before waiting for more chemo.

Other Answers:
PRAY!

The waiting is one of the hardest things to do. I really feel for you and your husband as I have been through it too, with my daughter. I wish I could say something that would make you feel better, but it is very stressful. Pray alot and hold on to each, as tight as you can. Be grateful for every moment you have together. God bless you both. My heart goes out to you, not knowing is worse than knowing. Been there, cancer is such and up and down thing and I found that even when you know someone with the same cancer, it seem to be a personal thing no two are alike. Good Luck and God Bless
