Dilantin levels?

Question:
My dad has multiple Myeloma. can His Dilantin level be severly lowered brought on by the cancer? If not what would cause that to happen?

Answers:
No but other medications can cause a drop in levels , his level should sit around 42 to 57. I can only suggest you ask the doctor about the effect current medication and any new medication he is introduced to will have any effect on the levels. Also check dilantin levels more to ensure they are consistant with his requirements.

Other Answers:
Failure to take medication or malabsorption for some reason. I know of no reason a bone marrow disease would affect it.
