I have intractable migraines, and about twice a year I get them so badly that all I can do is stay in bed with the lights off and a ice bag. I don't eat or move for days at a time, and I usually have to make several trips to the hospital for injections of pain killers and an IV drip to rehydrate before it is over. The last episode I had lasted 2 1/2 weeks. hmmmm.I had this weird like throat bug..for 2 weeks.sore throat..fever.it stunk.oh yeah and i was sick like months with this tummy bug,but God got me through and now im fine:)oh yeah and that stupid throw up flu.yuck.

Ahhh. Memories. It's a toss up between food poisoning from the Olive Garden and pneumonia during which I should have been hospitalized but instead worked three 60-hour weeks on a special project at the office.

headache, I'm a healthy young girl!

I had appendicitis in 1980. They could not diagnose for two days because my symptoms were not typical. The appendix disintegrated in the surgeons hand right after he cut it. Afterward I got a bad staph infection which raised my fever to 104 degrees F. On top of all that I received a huge injection of Penicillin for the infection which sensitized me to the drug. I developed an allergy to it with a pyretic reaction that caused my fever to hover between 103-105 degrees F for most of a week. I was very lucky I didn't have a respiratory reaction. All in all a horrible two weeks. A few years ago I ran a 106 temp for about 24 hours and according to my family I was starting to halucinate (sp). I know I ached all over even my hair hurt.

When I was younger, i had hepatitis, from shooting drugs.. I never went to the doctor. and I had to fight it off on my own.. I thought I was gone for sure.
