I think cysts in the sinus cavities are also referred to as nasal polyps. There are little holes in the sinus cavity, after prolong exposure to untreated sinus infections, allergies, etc. the skin behind these holes push out. They can swell and really become a nuisance. Steroid treatment can alleviate the problem. Surgery is a better alternative. Unfortunately neither is 100% effective. Even surgery has a 25% return rate.
