had a CT scan for bladder found a dark spot on the liver what could the dark spot on the liver be?
Question:
Answers:
dark spots, areas of low density, are much less likely than bright spots to be cancer. Differential is long, but most likely a vascular malformation or an abscess (if u aren't sick, it's most likely an old healed abscess). liver angiomata are fairly common. So are septic emboli from the gut, especially if u had surgery or have diverticulitis on occasion. If the spot was dark even with contrast, it's an old abscess. Lastly, could be parasite.

Cancer
maybe its a dead fly or other gross bug
Could be cirrhosis or some other hardening of the liver. You should check with your doctor and have further testing; perhaps a liver biopsy.
