OK, so youre suggesting that all who are infected with HIV or aids get on the boat for Leper Island? Most of the time people do not know that they are infected, so they don't take the proper precautions to keep from transmitting it to another person. You idea makes me think that you do not realize this. Very discriminatory and paranoid of you. Next youll suggest that all individuals afflicted with cancer be sent away as well. How about this, you go away and put yourself in quarantine so that you don't have to interact with any knowingly sick people. That sounds like the way to do it..

That is virtually everyone! Isolation is when the patient, and the patient only is isolated, not the people who come into contact with them. HIV is not spread easily. People who knowingly spread the virus can be convicted and "isolated" by being sent to jail. Otherwise it is an unnecessary and inhumane measure. Take care and stay safe!
