sorry but no. The brain tumors are treatable with radiation but the brain mets mean a poor prognosis.
Not sure you've got to go to a specialist in that field and get help if it's you.
Very sorry, but no. This is a poor prognosis.
This is a dire situation w/a poor prognosis. Lung cancer is a beast.
Small cell or also called Oat cell cancer is extremely aggressive with a poor prognosis.
Unfortunately if the disease has spread to the brain, it has most likely spread to other parts of the body as well.

Whole brain radiation therapy can be given but it would be for palliation, not to cure it.
May I shed a little light? My mother in-law who I am primary care giver to. Has had her left lung removed, they located a few mets in her brain, she is 75 years young, this was 3 years ago. Yes, she underwent radiation treatment as much as anyone could possibly take. loss of hair , and regained it. So there is hope, if not a cure then more time. So far she's been cancer free, knock on wood for me please?
small cell is extremely aggressive, and comes with poor prognosis, especially with metastasis. I just lost someone last week, with non-small cell in the lungs and metastasis to the brain, and small cell is even faster growing. Although nothing is impossible. My thoughts are with you. good luck, and god bless.
There are testimonials on different forms of cancer that have
been reversed on my page
