Anyone know what works better than salagen?

Question:
Anyone know what works better than salagen (pilocarpine) for radiation induced xerostomia?

Answers:
study presented today at the annual meeting of the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ASTRO) reported that taking Salagen(R) Tablets (pilocarpine hydrochloride) during radiation therapy is better at reducing the symptoms of xerostomia (severe dry mouth) than when taking the drug after radiation therapy is completed.

I have taken Salagen and the generic form of it. It works great for me, except for the hot flashes. I don't know that there is another type of medication that has the same effect. Is it not working for you at all?
