Is it possible to get Chlamydia from someone even if you don't have full unprotected sex and use a condom?

Question:
My ex is saying that there is no way he could have given me chlamydia as we never had full sex without protection.

I was with him for a year and never cheated, and the health advisor has said it is most likely I got it in the past year...

Answers:
The only way to contract any kind of sexual disease is by NOT wearing a condom. You could have had it before from your last boyfriend. See a Dr. He will give you pills to clear it up. Does not take long to go away. Best advice?ALWAYS USE A CONDOM. Better to be safe than sorry

Other Answers:
very possible
uh yeah it is. that's why if your going to have intercourse make sure you're partner is std's free as well as yourself, next time be more careful
Even during foreplay it can happen. He's touching himself without protection and then touches you. ALSO, there is a possiblity that since u faithful are u sure he is? Either way, if you have it, it now means he has it so YOU BOTH need to be treated together so u dont get it back.
Yes, you got it from him. If his penis so much as even touched you without a condom, then you could have gotten it. And if there was a leak or tear in the condom you could get it that way. He's being an a*shole and trying to make it sound like you were the one who was wrong when most likely he cheated on you and caught it then gave it to you. Your ex is nasty, you are better off without him.
Condoms offer some protection against all Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD) but they do not offer 100% protection that can only be achieved with abstinence. Poorly fitting or badly applied condoms increase the risks of passing on an STD. The chances are your health adviser is right but if you did have unprotected sex with anyone else you need to take this into consideration even if it was longer than a year ago. Oh and yes I do think he is trying to make out its not his fault and he should grow up because he's going to pass it on to someone else and for that he's a b****rd. My thanks to the Girls above, I hadn't thought about it but yes you can also get it through forplay
it can lay dorment for absolute years,if you think youv'e got it you must get checked out,it can cause lots of problems...
it can make you infertile,if your pregnant your child can be born with lots of severe problems, its not a nice thing to have, get it sorted
Ever heard of fingers?
It's important to point out that despite the sullying of your boyfriends name in this thread it isn't a certainty he has cheated as he could have picked it up from a previous partner and never had any symptoms - men are even less likely to have symptoms than women so he could have been carrying it before he met you in all fairness - though the truth of that is something you'd need to work out for yourself.
