is aflatoxin toxic ?

Is vitiligo cured permanently?

Answers:
Aflatoxin poisoning is a prime cause of liver cancer in some countries. In the US aflatoxin poisoning is mainly associated with eating contaminated raw peanuts. In other countries, especially China and west Africa, the contaminated food source varies but grains, raw nuts and animal feeds are primary suspects.

They are not only toxic, but are carcinogenic, too. This toxin is quite an issue in China, where you find high incidence of hepatitis, which mixed with aflatoxin (mycotoxin produced by a fungus found in grains not stored under proper conditions) create the perfect equation to cause liver cancer.
