I WAS just diagnosed with stomach cancer, has anyone else on here went through that and how hard was it?

I was just diagnosed with ovarian cancer. I had 3 chemo treatments, a hysterectomy, then 3 more chemo treatments. The chemo is not so bad anymore. You can get wristbands called SeaBands at a drug store they do help with neausia but you have to put them in the perfect spot on your wrist for them to work. Most cancers today can be put into remission with surgery and/or chemo. I have beat cancer 3 times since I was 12 yrs old. Now I am 52. Your life is precious and you need to remember that. Keep a good state of mind because stress makes cancer grow faster. KNOW you can fight this and it won't be as bad as you may think. When you are in remission it will all be worth it. And you will be if you keep a good attitude, know you are stronger than it is and do everything your doctor suggests. They are the miracle workers. Please, Please, Please also seek treatment from a Chinese herbalist/acupuncturist in addition to any "traditional western" medicine you may receive. It will help.

Lauren, ive not had stomach cancer, but i had leukemia. chemo sucks, and i wish you the best of luck ina speedy recovery :) im not sure how stomach cancer works, but if you want a detailed explanation of how APML works, i can hook itup :) i have never heard of that before but if your not making this up dahn i really hope you get better
