If they were NOT coughing (as in, not a single witnessed cough), then I'd personally, do very little, other than mention it if I got sick down the road.
How closely did you get to this person, silly nonsense like this matters. If 3 times for six hours each, swapping spit. well yeah, you're gonna be a risk for contracting TB. If 3 times, for 5 minutes over coffee outside. low concern.

Your next question is, what do I do when my ppd (arm skin test) turns positive? Well, even if you don't ever get the disease, your skin test might be positive (indicating an exposure), mine is.
