what are the nursing interventions of bronchogenic carcinoma?
Question:
Answers:
what the heck do you mean by "nursing interventions"???
uh, yeah, i know what an intervention is, thanks. i don't think there is any role for a nurse in intervention in terms of cancer treatment directly. i mean, they just follow doctor's orders.
i really don't understand your question.
Always start with your basic nursing skills which is ASSESSMENT- the so called IPPA
inspection- Look for signs of respiratory distress or atelectasis
palpate- for retactions or decrease vibratory movement during regular respiration
percussion- to determine and estimate the size and location of the mass
auscultate- for the decrease breath sounds in different lug fields
with these basic skills you will know and prioritize your nursing management. always prioritized based on the ABC's and physiological needs rather than psychological needs of your patient.
