Absence seizures, if so what medications help?
Question:
Answers:
How old was your son, when he first had gotten sick? I was 4 years old,and now I am 38 years old,and I have Epilepsy with sudden death seizures.Your son may grow out of it,but you have to let the medicine work. Also,if you do not have a neurologist,I strongly suggest that you get one.I was told I would grow out of it-by the time I was18 years old,it didn't work for me.So please, get a neurologist and work with your neurologist. You could ask your neurologist about these medications-Tegretol,Keppra,Za. Colonipin.I have absence seizures also-and now I am on Keppra and Tegretol.I hope this helps you.

Epilepsy more than anything is a life long problem. Gaps between seizures can be years with medication. You make want to ask your doctor about tegratol.
Good question. I know of Neurontin & Tegritol for Epilepsy. Not sure if he will ever grow out of it. But it is manageable I believe!
