How does someone get eggsma?
Question:
Answers:
Eczema is a genetic predisposition to hyper-sensitive skin. I have had atopic dermatitis, the clinical name of eczema, for 40+ years.I also have allergies to pollens, grasses, molds, dust.
people with eczema are also more prone to asthma.
It doesn't take much to start a flare- up;nasty rashes can pop up if the skin cannot tolerate something.I can't tolerate soap, lanolin, highly scented products,alpha-hydroxy acids, any kind of drying agent like peroxide.exposure to just plain water can trigger flare ups because the skin is robbed a moisture.I can't use scented detergents or fabric softeners without itching. Clothes have to be soft and silky. If I wear wool it has to be lined or I have to wear an extra layer between the wool and my skin.
