Question:

this is rhematoid arthritis. i am fairly young but feel so old any suggestions?

I was mis-diagnosed with RA almost 10 ago {at age 29} as it turned out I have a neuro-muscular disease which has some of the same symptoms. It is hard when you are young and dealing with all of this pain, limited mobility and wanting to do more. I feel like I'm going on 90 but I just turned 37 two weeks ago. I try to live for the good moments and my puggle Frankie helps as she is there with kisses even when I am B%@#$* due to the pain. My doc also finally convinced me to look into getting a motorized chair so I can go out and do more {I kept putting it off because of vanity reasons but I am tired of not going out due to limited mobility}. I am here if you need to talk, good luck!

Get a good Dr. and try to work things out. Do stop doing things, when you stop it will be hard to start up because it will hurt even more.

I hear Plaquenil helps a lot of people. If it works for you, it will make you feel young again.
