Step Throat?

Question:
My wife had strep throat and went to the Dr. They gave her some antibiotics to help kill the bacteria and now that she is done with her medication it is back. Its only been about 4 days since she took her last prescription. Could it not have been strong enough or maybe some other problem?

Answers:
Check with the doctor as to why teh infection has recurred. Also consider natural herbal remedies as they help to safely reduce the symptoms of this condition, clear the infection, cut recovery time and also strengthen the immune system to prevent recurring infection.

Try Horseradish herb. Its properties help treat the infection and she should feel better. Also use Kava Kava as a gargle for pain relief. It soothes the throat too.

Kava is an ancient crop of the western Pacific. Its scientific name is Piper Methysticum and is related to the black pepper--both have heart-shaped leaves and flowers similar to the flower spike of the anthurium. It has a peppery taste.

If medicines don’t work do try the above. She should get some relief!

Other Answers:
Are you sure she hasn't gotten a case of thrush from the antibiotic? That happens a lot. She needs to go back to the doctor.
It could be either. Most likely the antibiotic that she was prescribed wasn't strong enough. She should return to the doctor.
Well it may be the antibiotic. Have her call doctor. Strep untreated can damage the heart do not play with it. The only way to tell if you have strep is through a culture. Girlfriend went to doc oh looks like strep got sicker because it was mono not strep.
well, i would say that th
Strep can be resistant, but it is not very common. Go back and have it checked out. If you haven't been on antibiotics for a couple of days, it is wise to get a culture to see exactly what is growing there.
She needs to be rechecked by the doctorand maybe have a culturedone to see what type of infection she has. It may be one that is more resistant to some of the antibiotics.
She may need another type of antibiotic.
