You can CONTROL diabetes but there is not a CURE for it. Exercise and diet are the first place to begin.
No. There is no cure for diabetes, there is only control. You knew that, though, didn't you.
Perhaps by stem cell transplants in the future. This seems to offer some hope.
At the moment there is no cure for diabetes. However if you would like to help please visit the American Diabetes association website and find out how YOU can help fight Diabetes.
Since there are two distinct types of diabetes, so far, and no known cure, so far, there are two approaches for control of one's blood glucose (sugar) level. In Type 1 people, there is no production of insulin. As such, insulin must be introducted into the body. In Type 2 people, there is insulin production but no in sufficient quantity to meet the person's needs. This type might have a controlled dietary and exercise regiment that reduced the insulin requirements. Thus, the need for insulin matchs the production quantity. In other words, the demand equals the need. The would be a "cure"; however, it's usually temporary - for as long as the individual does what's necessary for the demand to equal need. Temporary because one the match is achieved, the lifestyle will probably revert back and the external control lost again. Many Type 2 diabetics can revert back with lifestyle change but the change is often hard to maintain for the rest of that person's life! And there lies the problem.
NO
