My sister has a very rare and life threatening disease. What can I do to make her feel "normal" again?

First of all, God bless you for realizing that probably one of the things that your sister needs the most right now is someone who is going to treat her as if she were "normal" again and not baby her. But with that said, you wont forget that she has this disease. What you can do, is let her lead the way. Give her your time and let her decide what to do with it. God bless both of you.
Well first I am very sorry for you as well as your sister..the best you can do hon is be there for her but also be as you always were don't treat her as if she is going to break with hugs and be the best sister you can be!
make her feel good and enjoy every second you have with her
Make her feel normal? You mean, deceive her? Pretend everything is ok? Doesn't she already know the difference? I would suggest both of you dealing with reality. Compassion is nice but you can't sugar coat this.
just spend as much time as possible with her. There's no way really to make someone "normal" again.
I'm sorry to hear about your sister.
Without knowing what your sister has, and what troubles it causes, I can't suggest much. But you might be able to go walking in a park (weather permitting, and if you have one), go out to dinner, even go shopping. My sister-in-law can't walk, but I took her to an icecream store locally, then we went on to the local department store. Not that we bought much, but it was nice seeing what was there.
Don't pretend nothing's wrong: You both know there is a problem so such a pretense would be rather insulting. But enjoy your time together as much as you can.
Good luck.
be there for her every step of the way.-PRAY,PRAY PRAY,,
God has the last say-not the doctors. find a church that prays for the sick. don't ever give up! be an encouragement to her.
ps. i have been through this.
