Mole growth?
Question:
Answers:
Her's the answer: When in doubt, check it out! Go to the doctor, that is the only way to know.
If you have any questions about a mole, you should go to a dermatologist ASAP! I've been there with the whole melanoma thing, and the sooner the doctor sees it, the better.
Mainly, you want to look for a change in size or shape. Also, changes in color (if it gets darker or a dark spot appears on the mole). Is the mole asymetrical? Meaning, do both sides of it look the same? These are all things that your doctor should look at before deciding whether or not a biopsy is necessary. Good luck with that!
A dark mole growing should be seen by a doctor. All moles are not nevi but keratoses of various kinds, and melanomas are fairly rare.
