How can we reverse Diabetes ?
Question:
Answers:
There are two types of diabetes. Type I is childhood onset. Type II is adult onset diabetes. Child onset diabetes is as a result of the body's inability to produce insulin. Type II is as a result of insulin Resistance by the tissues of the body. People with type I diabetes tend to be very thin, and people with type II diabetes tend to be obese. You need to know if your boyfriend is type one or type two.
If someone is type two they are usually taking Metformin or glucophage. These medications act as an escort for the insulin molecule to enter the cells of the body while holding the hand of their buddy glucose. Without it the insulin molecules which are attached to glucose basically just keep banging at the door of the cell wall and no-one is answering.
Also type II diabetics can decrease the effects of their disease by losing weight. The reason that they become resistant to insulin is that the cells and the insulin molecule are supposed to fit like a lock and key. Glucose bound to insulin are the "key" and the body tissues are the "lock". When a person is overweight, the "lock" located on fat cells of the body become distorted and the "key" no longer fits. When someone loses enough weight the tissues begin to return to normal.

You can't reverse type I diabetes, for type II you need to lose weight and eat less carbs and sugar
You know scientists have been trying to find the answer to that for decades and you think you're gonna find the answer here?
For type 2 diabetes, you can't really "reverse" it, but if you lose just 20 pounds, perhaps you won't even need meds. It's a combination of healthy food, exercise, and just basic taking-care-of-yourself. Diabetes is becoming an epidemic, but some really great medical researchers are honing in on a cure.
lose weight, eat healthly, stop smoking if you smoke, excerise. get and make drs appt to keep check on your health, if it runs in the family then you can either have it or be a carrier of it.
Through the study and use of certain plants and foods.
Your solution is not very far away at all.
Macadamia nuts are a key, Australian native fruits and nuts.
Australian Aboriginals ( A Wonderous people) never new diabetes until the introduction of a high sugar high salt diet.
Food for thought huh?
:)
It depends on the kind of diabetes you have. there are two: diabetes type one and diabetes type 2, the first one usually appears on young patients with an astenic bio-type and it´s caused by a deficiency of insuline it is also congenital but it can be acquired by a destruction of pancreas or else. Type2 is more frequent in grown ups, usually with obesity and it is caused by a lost of insuline receptors or reduction on the sensitivity and efectivity of it. The type 2 can be reversed with exercises and diet control mainly that´s the initial treatment also and you can reverse it by doing this, i mean when you exercises specially, your sensibility to insulin increases so your blood glicemia decreases.
There is an interesting news of Diabetes vaccine.
"A team of researchers led by Prof. Irun Cohen of the Weizmann Institute of Science Immunology Department has revealed the molecular mechanism of a vaccine for Type 1 diabetes. .."

unfortunately you can not reverse it. sorry
u cannot reverse it
however u can dec blood glucose by medicines and insulin
If u dont decrease blood glucose level consequences will be bad
U may get wounds not healing and get diabetic foot and other complications are also v hard
Diabetes can be controlled-depending on multi-factors:
Diabetic type one-cannot be controlled without insulin therapy-the pancreas no longer secretes insulin.
Diabetes type 2 may be controlled with diet, weight loss & exercise and thereby reduce long-term damage to organs such as kidney, heart & eyes. In general, by the time a person is diagnosied with diabetes-the disease has been present for years.
Is it Diabetes type 1,2 or gestational diabetes. Gestational diabetes can sometimes be reversed after pregnancy. The other type , pretty slim. The best thing to do is control it dont let it control u. =)
