Is there any other way to contract chlamydia?

Question:
I overheard an arguement that there was another way to contract this very common STD. I know the HIV virus can survive outside the body for sometime under the right conditions. Is it the same for chlamydia?

Answers:
Chlamydia is mainly passed through sexual activity. Vaginal or anal sex with an infected partner, oral sex (although this is less common), sharing sex toys, or touching parts of the body with fingers (for example, chlamydia often occurs in the eyes).

You can NOT catch chlamydia from simple kissing, sharing baths, towels, cups, or from toilet seats.

Other Answers:
Chlamydia is a sexually transmitted disease, period. The only other way to contract it, is if an object is used in the infected woman and then used again on another woman. Men are carriers, with no symptoms, most usually. Women can carry the virus and be under the impression they are having yeast infection symptoms, or bacterial inf. symptoms..Please be careful, wrap that rascal! Good Luck. Nana

I overheard that a friend of a friend.I mean I know someone that argued..You can get it any way, through oral or through sex. Take the pills and it goes away!

every body on here is right!
