Splotchy shoulders?

Question: I was out at the beach a little too long the other day, and got a mild sunburn. After it all cleared, it started to peel, but only parts peeled off, and now several days later, I look like a leper or like I have a case of cancer on my shoulders. I have dark spots that didn't peel, and lighter spots where I did.I've been moisturizing and trying to get the rest to come off, but it's not budging.it's very strange. Any ideas?

You;ve already done what I would suggest and that is to use a lotion of some kind. Other than that about all you can do is nothing.
