Treatment for mycoplasma and klebsiella?

Question:
effective pharmaceutical treatment, with their indications and side effects

Answers:
I need to know wht type of infection there is. In other words, where is the infection. Then an antibiotic discussion is sensible.
For Mycoplasma pharyngitis (e.g. M. pneumoniae) one of the quinolone antibiotics would be efficacious. (ciprofloxicin, moxifloxicin, etc.). For mycoplasma spp. causing urethritis/cervicitis, (e.g. M. genitalium), the following antibiotics, could be chosen from, (depending upon the severity of the infection and the nature of the patient. (age, gender, allergiespregnant?, etc.)etc.).doxycycline, erythromicin, azithromycin, or a quinolone
Klebsiella spp. cause a wide range of human diseases, and a treatment protocol will differ with each problem and the patient's history,
K. pneumoniae can be found, in stool, urine, blood, sputum, wounds, cerebrospinal fluid, and in the gut. It can be treated by intravenous cetriaxone, cephipime, meropenem, etrapenem and any of the quinolones. (some of the last class can be orally administered.
Check P.D.R. for side effects, or google the manufacturer and get the specific antibiotic,s monograph. Yahoo medication section often can lead to that information.

Other Answers:
Anitibiotics is the standard for gram stain negative bacteria like klebsiella. Regarding the mycoplasma, it is just another name for pneumonia and treatment depends ond what is causing it, and what the severity is.
