Hi, Painful lump under my left earlobe.?

Question:
I noticed this lump under my left earlobe yesterday afternoon and since then, it has grown (about 18 hours since it appeared). It is tender, and seems to be increasing in temperature, and warm to the touch. The more I push on it, the more painful it is. It is about the size of a chapstick tube, maybe a little smaller and I only feel one lump. I'm am also pregnant too, if that matters. I'm just curious of what it could be. I've had sebatious cysts before on my leg, and it does feel like one of them. It almost feels as though it is a large zit, or an ingrown hair. and maybe a hot compression would work? I've tried to squeeze it, but nothing comes out. Any answers would be GREATLY appreciated!! Thank you!

Answers:
Don't worry. It sounds like a cyst. they're pretty common on ears. I get them on occasion. Leave it alone and it will go away in about a week. If it gets worse or doesn't clear on it's own, consult your doc.

Other Answers:
it's just an enlarge lymph node.=) it's common to pregnant women. pregnant women usually have low immunity, so the lymph nodes usually enlarge to increase the number of whiteblood cells to fight off those microorganisms.=)
My dad has had cysts under his ears for years. The things get irritated sometimes. His doctor told him he could have them removed.

Yours might be a different kind of cyst or something entirely different. I have a reoccuring cyst on another part of my body that reacts well to hot compresses (wet wash cloth microwaved for about 30 seconds.) when it's irritated and then drains.

If you think it's getting bigger, won't go away, or it starts hurting worse, please go to a doctor. I hope you get relief soon.
