How is chrones disses treated. Is there a medication for treatment.?
Question:
Answers:
I have crohns disease and there is no cure for it but there is treatment so that you can live a normal life. I take asacol for it and it has been 100% effective. I was on pentasa before that and it was effective too but my insurance didn't cover it anymore so I had to switch. If you watch your diet carefully then you shouldn't have to many problems. The hardest thing for me to give up was popcorn and red meat but after awhile you don't miss it anymore
My daughter has it and there are no medications that cure it, per se. She controls her crones via her rigorous diet.
