Is it possible that a 14 year old girl could be diagnosed with breast cancer?

Question:

Answers:
Yes, its not common, but it can appear. Go to your doctor if you have any doubts. I went (I'm 25, at the time I was 17), and turns out I had a hormone disorder, that created some lumps on my breast. Nothing serious. Just tell your mom/aunt/friend and go to the doctor.

Anything's possible. I've heard of a few girls with breast cancer, it wasn't fully harmful as in adult women but it was there.
As long as you have breasts, there can be cancer. They don't have to be any certain size either, and at 14 you've already started puberty. Now, have you found a lump, or did a doctor say something after a screening?
consult your physician to get an accurate diagnosis

It can happen, but it seems to be rare. However, a 14 year old girl could have a lump for other reasons that aren't cancerous. Check out this site and see if it helps. If you know of someone who is concerned that they might have cancer, please make certain that they go to a doctor as soon as possible. Early treatment of cancer, especially breast cancer, can save their life.

Yes, that is true, Breast cancer does not see the size or growth of beasts. Even males can have breast cancer. However, mostly breast ca manifests in women over the age of 40.
Yes it is possible, but not likely.
Just take to doctor, because at that age usually its the milk ducts acting up. That comes along with puberty.
There is a possibility that a 14 year old could be diagnosed with breast cancer. The youngest that I had heard of was 16.
It is rare for women that age to develop breast cancer, and the chances of survival are reduced due to hormones (any woman who is under the age of 40 have a greater risk of dying within a year to three years of original diagnosis)
I have had three people in my life diagnosed with breast cancer.
One was in her late 60's and lived a very long time before passing away. One was 28, and died due to re-occurrence two years later, and my other friend was diagnosed at 31 and has had two re-occurrences but still fighting.
I hope that it is not cancer and just fibrocystic breast disease.
Good Luck.
possible but not likely. Depends on your development. When I was around 14, i too was worried/paranoid about lumps in the breast and i started searching for then to the point that it brings pain physically. Don't worry too much, go to a doctor to put your mind at ease.
yes its possible cancer has no age limit.
Not only does cancer not have an age limit, but men can be diagnosed with breast cancer also.
Yes but very low incidence and rare condition.
yes infact in the area which i live there have been a number of teenage cases of breast cancer which is makeing some doctors wonder if there can be environmental factors that can cause or can contribute to the growth of breast cancer. But otherwise its rare
yes, sadly it is. it is extremely rare, but it can happen. i recommend (assuming you are talking about yourself) start doing self breast exams if you are worried.
I don't see why not.Cancer is an ugly disease and hits anybody
IT'S PROBABLY UNUSUAL BUT CANCER CAN STRIKE ANYBODY AT ANY AGE. I BELIEVE SHE WILL BE CURED AND LIVE A LONG AND HAPPY LIFE AND MY PRAYERS ARE WITH HER AND YOU.
