if i was drawing for AST, ALT, LD, and serum HCG how many and what color tubes would I use (school student)?

I need to know which ones would be centrifuged.

why don't you ask your teacher? I find it very disturbing that the person that drew my blood the other day may have been taught how to do it by someone on yahoo. Gee whats next a Dr. asking the best way to perform a heart transplant.

Just a guess, but maybe just a red top.

All it would take is 1 red top tube(chemistry tube). It will be centrifuged & the chem lab tech will run the tests off the serum.
