I bet it's an ingrown hair. Ew.
I'm kinda curious as to what it is. Would you wait til Monday and post the info when you choose best answer?
eh? a wart or tumor? or maybe a.dunno. mosquito bite? yeah right.
Is it a red bump? Ingrown hairs or body acne may be the cause of this.
get to the docter.
I don't know what it is but I suggest you go to the free clinic. At least they can see if it is serious before you wait all that time for your family doctor.
get it checked out. i don't think it's cancer but still get it checked out. my friend had a few growing on her body and she had it all removed cuz it was painful to her too.
go to the ER.
I had a lump on my leg. It grew over an old scar. I was worried about it as it kept growing. I went to the doctor and had it surgically removed and the tissue was tested. Luckily there was nothing strange but it was good to have it removed and to be sure.
It depends what kind of bump it is. A doctor or dematologist is your best bet really.
Its very possible you could have a skin abscess. and you should goto the doctor to have it either drianed. or be put on some antibiotic.

Yeah..like dude above me said a ingrown hair/boil. Mix together a tablespoon of white vinegars and a maybe a forth of a teaspoon of water and rub it on the lump. I'm not sure what it does but my grandma always did it. Ingrown hairs usually have like the dark spot in the middle of the bump where the hair is, but boil don't. they just hurt like hell.
Sounds like a boil. I had one not too long ago. Try applying a warm compress to it several times a day. A head should appear before long. When it does apply the compresses more frequently until all the pus is gone. Don't squeeze it. It could develop an infection. A sign that the pus is gone is that you start to see blood. When you do apply neosporin to the site.

Personal experience
GET TO THE DOCTOR!!
have it checked by a doctor as soon as you possibly can .
I would not like to speculate what it might be .
It could be anything, from a benign cyst to a cancerous rodent ulcer .
keep it clean and protected, from scratches or knocks,
IE/ a dry dressing to pad and cover it ..
seek medical advice when you can.
best wishes
:).
Any lump (especially a lump that is painful) should be checked out. If you can't get to the doctor, go see your local pharmacist.
Chances are it's nothing to worry about, but at least it will calm your nerves. Good luck.
i used to get small spots like that my doc said it from bumping into things kinda like a harmless cyst.
