I lean towards a sinus infection, but it could also be in your lungs. Either way you have some sort of infection going on. See a doctor.

sounds like a sinus infection or dental problem.
Are you making your own meals?
Are you taking antibiotics? Some anitbiotics have a side effect of a metallic taste
It could be from a medication your taking some of them have that as a side effect. I also had those symptoms but i had a burning feeling with it and it made me cough alot. I was diagnosed with Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) basically really bad heartburn. If you go to webmd.com they have alot of info on this and you can see which symptoms you have. I would say you should call your DR seeings its been a week and no relief.
