When I type fast, my cervical pain wostens, any effective remedies ?

Question:
Im suffering from cervical problem, since past few years. Now when I type fast (specially during chating) I start developing a pain in the back of neck & later the pain starts refering to back of head causing dizziness. Any natural way to reduce it or precautions ? I hate taking medicines. Thanks.

Answers:
The term cervix means neck, you are correct to refer to that region as the cervical region of you spine. From my experience a lot of neck pain is due to poor posture at a work station. Second is poor sleeping habits, the worst is sleeping on your stomach, if you do this try to begin either back or side sleeping. I would see a good chiropractor to work on your neck. I have seen wonderful results on people just like you.

Yeah I was wondering where the arms came out myself. If you mean clavical pain, then you should probably see a doctor. If you really mean cervical, then you should see a doctor immediately.

Do you know what "cervical" is? best is some exercises to strengthen ur neck muscles.first of all is ur posture.make sure u keep ur neck straight.lift the level of the key board or lower the level of ur chair if necessary.
some exercises might help.clasp fingers of both hands behind the neck and exert a backward pressure for 10 secs and release.do it for two minutes and three times a day.keep ur hands over the hips and rotate your shoulders both clock wise and anti clock wise 10 times.these will yield results after 1-2 weeks.hope these answers help

for the people who obviously didn't research this one regarding what cervical pain.. it does refer to neck pain..

hahah actually it's kinda funny the snotty answers they gave even though they were wrong! HA

anyway maybe you could try strenghtening your abs so there is less strain put on your "cervical spine" , or try sitting on a balance ball for a chair, which forces you to sit up straighter instead of slumping Try an Ergonomic chair. You can get them at Office Max. It is a chair that actually has no back, but has a seat, and a slanted, padded area below that to put your knees on. It changes the position of your Sacral, Lumbar, and Cervical spine and lines them up. You will be amazed at how much different you will feel.
Go to the store and sit on one, you'll be convinced.
If you can't afford to do that, it might help to put the keyboard on your lap when you type.
Good luck.
