Question:
i get dizzy when i lay on my right side and sick on my stomach. iam overweight. what could cause this problem.. thank you

Answers:
First and most important....see a physician. Aside from your weight, you are in an age group when cardiac problems can begin to happen for women. Add your weight problems along with your age and you are high risk for a cardiac episode....possibly even a stroke.

Something else to think about...your lungs. There are three lobes on the right and two on the left. Over weight people are already restricting lung compassity because of the weight compressing on the lungs. When you sleep on your right side you are compressing three out of five lung lobes....this would also add to the strain on your heart....less oxygen intake, more heart work needed etc. Your heart works harder, your brain doesn't get the oxygen it needs....Your blood pressure may go way up....lots of reasons to feel dizzy & sick.

The truth is, I do not know what is going on and I (along with everyone else) can only suggest possibilities.....get to your physician and follow your physician's suggestions. You don't want a stroke or a heart attack at any age....but you are young...too young to set yourself up to live physically incompasitated by stroke or an M.I.

Other Answers:
You may have situational vertigo. It is fairly common and usually goes away on its own, but you should see your doctor to rule out anything more serious.
being overweight
After trying for 10 years. I finally lost 150+ lbs (12 stone) and kept it off for over 4 years now. I've beaten 3 terminal diseases and I am now in amazing health, all around, not just thinner.

I did it without medicine, workouts, religion, going hungry or hating my food and without an operation or secret formula. I had tried counting: calories; carbs; fat; etc. I had tried jogging, swimming, weights, aerobics, crazy medicines and starving! But nothing ever worked well or lasted very long.

I also had Hypertension, High Blood Pressure, Chronic Asthma, vision and hearing loss. constant colds and ills, annual flu or pneumonia and more. I was approved for bypass surgery and taking usually between 16 and 20 pills a day.

take a look at my before and after pictures...
