If your case was caught early enough, you hopefully didn't have to have a breathing tube put in. If you did, your recovery will be longer. if not, you just have to take all of your antibiotics and you should recover fairly quickly ... a week or two.
I do not know how severe an inflammation you have or what, if any, medications you may taking to treat it. This is a question you should be addressing to your health care provider and to us.
