I've had Heart palpitations for about a month and a half, help.?

Question:
I've been having heart palpitations for about a month and a half and none of the doctors can figure out what it is, they say that it's probably just stress. But it's driving me nuts already I should'nt even have to be dealing with this I'm only 22 yrs old. also does anyone have any home remedies that might help get rid of this problem. Please anything would help.

Answers:
I have this same problem and I'm only 20 years old. I did got to the doc and had and ecg, ekg and I had to wear a heart monitor for 24hrs. Thats when the doc noticed I had an irregular heart beat. The doc told me not ot worry Its normal In some people but It's really scary. Dont ever let them tell you youre to young and Its just strees. Go have all the proper test done and If they come back normal then try not to worry so much because heart palpitations are normal. So good luck and I hope everything goes well.
i get that wheni lay on my side and i cant take a deep breath . i been to the dr and no one can find anything. they sayits caffine. so if youdrink a lot of it lay off it for a few weeks. good luck
I would never go see a qualified doctor just in case you might really be sick.

Are you talking of a fluttering heart beat or anxious heart racing. Has your heart done it when you are in the doctors office? I have an occasional missed beat thing that is called a winkie block - it just refers to the rhythm pattern of the beats. I had to wear a heart monitor for 24 hours to catch it on record. It is a non fatal problem. But caffeine in chocolate or coffee etc. really causes it to act up - as did being pregnant. Have you had any hormonal changes lately - like new birth control pills?
You may find relief just by coughing.. is the latest advice to come down the pike. I do it and it seems to be most satisfactory.
