White looking chanchre sores in the throat?

Question: My fiance has a sore throat and I had him open his mouth to look at his throat and there are 3 white canker looking sores there. I know it cant be hand-foot-mouth disease. No one else here is sick. What do you think it could be? He does have green drainage that he is coughing up. Just curious.

he should be on his way to the doctor asap!! it sounds like strep or could be his tonsils. either way for an adult man it could cause other serious problems. such as make him go steril if not treated. no, that's not an answer to be funny! it's very true.

Sounds like strep. He will need to go to the doc and get a strep test, but that's what it looks like. Strep throat or tonsillitis are two possibilities in which case he needs anti-biotics. He should go to the docotor or med center ASAP as both are contagious.
