Answers:
This type of hepatitis is caused by the hepatitis C virus (HCV), which infects approximately 36,000 persons each year in the United States. Although generally a mild condition, hepatitis C is much more likely than hepatitis B to lead to chronic liver disease. People infected with HCV can become chronic carriers of the virus, although they may have no symptoms. It is estimated that there are approximately 4 million HCV chronic carriers. Around 70 percent of all HCV carriers will develop chronic liver disease, regardless of whether they have symptoms.

HCV is spread primarily by exposure to human blood. Approximately 80 percent of persons who share needles to inject drugs are infected with HCV. Persons who receive blood transfusions face some risk, although it is very low since testing of donated blood for HCV began in 1990. Hepatitis C has been transmitted between sex partners and among household members, but the degree of risk is believed to be low. HCV is not spread by food or water or casual contact, such as shaking hands or sharing a work space or bathroom facility.

What are the symptoms of hepatitis C?

Many people infected with hepatitis C have no symptoms. When symptoms are present, they can range from mild to severe. The most common early symptoms are mild fever, headache, muscle aches, fatigue, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. Later symptoms may include dark coffee-colored rather than dark yellow urine, clay-colored stools, abdominal pain, and yellowing of the skin and/or whites of the eyes (jaundice).

it is transmitted thru unprotective oral, anal, and penetrated sex like hiv and aids
The easiest way to know is to get tested.

Sounds like you all are at risk(high)
get tested immediately
you need to get tested first then worry about it if it is positive
The same way as AIDS. Trough blood or secretion contact.
This type of disease is easily spread through all types of sexual contact. Just by you having sex with an infected partner once is enough for you to contract the disease.

I would HIGHLY recommend that you get tested for not only Hep C but all the other STD's just in case. Its alot better to find out now then later.
Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) is RARELY spread through normal sexual contact. I had hcv and it is in remission after a year of treatment. If it stays in remission, I will be considered cured! My husband and I have had sex during my period, even oral, and he has been tested, just in case, and he does not have hcv. HCV is a blood born disease, meaning that it is spread through blood to blood contact. If you have and open sore and someone with hcv also happens to be bleeding and then bleeds into your open sore, odds are that you also will get hcv, otherwise, it's not likely. You should get tested, just in case, a simple blood test will tell you. Also, about 20% of those who are exposed to the virus, meaning that they get hcv, will spontaneously cure the virus. Their bodies will produce the antibodies they need and they will never know they even have the virus unless they try to give blood. Anyone who had a blood transfusion prior to 1992 should also be checked because they weren't aware of the virus prior to then and had no way to test the blood supply.
Best wishes and Smiles.
Doesn't seem to me like you really cared how it is transmitted, seeing as how you had sex...UNPROTECTED...WITH 2 WOMEN(one of which was married.YUCK!). So you and your Hep C partner have probably infected 3 people! People like you guys are the reason why diseases are so prevalent today. You don't care and you're just nasty! Whatever you catch (or caught) is just what you deserved!!!
