Why do I have a dry spot on the side of my nose?

Question:
I keep getting a dry red spot on the side of my nose. Its red, then it seems to scab over, then peels off, then starts all over again. Sometimes theres a similar red spot just under my eye that does the same thing, but I get it no where else on my body. Anyone know what it is?
Thanks in advance.

Answers:
I think it's really dry so why can't you put lotion on it? I think it's a rash.

You should see a physician. It could be a rash, psoriasis or skin cancer.
Does the spot have a "crater" in the center? It's tough to tell without seeing it but the scabbing over, peeling, and starting all over sounds consistent with basal cell carcinoma (skin cancer). These typically show up in sun-exposed areas and the nose and eyelids are classic. You should seriously have a doctor see these. You may need a biopsy.
It has to do with age and the food you are putting into your body.

Your body is rejecting something, or someone for that matter.
