Yikes! It is possible that they were getting lots of little bubbles in the sample. They were probably using a vacutainer needle and vacuum tubes and the sample was probably filling a bit too fast. It is possible that if the tubes were filling way too fast then the sample may be hemolyzed and you may have to go back to be redrawn. The problem is not you or your blood but the technique used so don't be too alarmed.
You were at a doctor's office. They're not just taking your blood 'cause they feel like it. Wait for the results and all your questions will be answered.
