I've had Bell's Palsy 4x. Anyone else ever had it? Please help me learn how to deal with the lasting effects.

My husband has had Bell's palsy as well. When diagnosed, he was told it is a mini stroke. He was later diagnosed with diabetes and of course strokes are quite often associated with that disease.
His face would always show the signs of the Bell's palsy when he was either very tired or cold..(we live in Canada) so most of the winter.
I have found a product that has helped him tremendously. It is called Himilayan Goji Juice and is the only functional juice with medical validation including 72 clinical studies published on pubmed.org under the heading Lycium Barbarum. This is an adaptogen which goes to work on all auto-immune deficiencies. For him it has balanced his blood sugar levels, brought his blood pressure down and restored his circulation, particularly in his feet. His face is starting to return to normal as well, and he takes 2 oz in the morning and 2 oz at night.
Amazing results.

you know, my son got Bells Palsy, from a cold sore of all things! Apparently the virus that caused it worked its way around to the nerve behind his head and gave him the Bells. very fortunately, he completely recovered (I had never heard of that happening before). He was 13 at the time, and the symptoms lasted for several weeks. It was so hard for him, he was very embarrassed to go anywhere or do anything. But then, we just started laughing about it. We started laughing about peoples reactions when he smiled and only half his face moved. Pretty soon, the laughter was more common than the tears, and he was able to realize that he was the same person he always was. My heart goes out to you, best of luck with recovery.
