Answers:
You should know, that this condition is curable. First of all, you have to have a nice rest physically and emotionally. If this is hard to achieve, just stay out of crowd for a while. You will see, that your energy fills you again and your body - slowly, but steadily - starts to recover. And don't forget about your soul!

My dad had it when he was 20 and he fully recovered, can't tell he ever had it. Email me at bodywrap@mhtc.net I'll find out what treatment he took.
It is caused by a virus that you will likely have for the rest of your life, but just like Chicken Pox,etc, there will be a time it is dormant and no longer effect you. The only problem is that once your nerves and muscles that have been affected regain their sensation or movement, some time may be needed to completely rehab them. In other words, ther is non clear answer as to how long you'll be affected by a palsy.
