I am worried?

Question:
My sister has scoliosis, she's 13 and a little less than 2 years ago she had spinal transfusion. Now she's curving again, I am worried. They had said the chances of it curving again were slim, but now she's curving again and I was thinking... If we keep getting it fixed she'll be better, right? Well I was thinking, what if she keeps curving? They had said that she was going to die without surgery, now what if she never stops curving will she eventually and actually die?!

Answers:
Lexie, talk to your parents about your fears and concerns. Medical science is amazing. I am sure she will be fine. I have a niece who has had the surgery three times. She's almost 14. She is fine. I know you love your sister. You can fix this yourself, or carry the weight and the worry of this on your own. Talk to your parents, your grandparents, any other adult like a teacher you can trust. I believe everything will be ok, but you have got to stop worrying, and borrowing trouble with all the what ifs. Do you believe in God? If you do, pray to Him for comfort and peace for yourself and a solution for your sister. Miracles happen everyday. Have faith and share this concern with others. Good Luck and God Bless YOU.
