i have a wort like thing on my penis?

Question: but.i have never had sex.i know what worts look like as i have had one on my hand before from sweating but.this has been there for a year or so, doesnt bother me but.it obviously cant be genital worts as im a virgin. what could it be

It's scary to think about asking a doctor to look at it but that's what you need to do. That way you will be able to get past the fear and worry you're experiencing. I'd talk to my parents first. Tell them that you are a virgin and in a way that makes this little wart like thing even scarier.

Something similar happened to my daughter only it's was a knot or lump she had on the back of her leg about the size of a dime. She was so frightened that she didn't tell me about it for over a year. Instead she worried and worried that it might be cancer until it became almost an obsession. Finally she told me, I took her to the doctor and it look him about 15 seconds to relieve her fears. It was nothing just some harmless thickened tissue.

You'll feel so much better.

Worts can spread from one area of the body to another. You may have had this happen when you have held the penis while using the bathroom. If I were you I would tell my doctor.

Warts that appear on your fingers are caused by a different strain of virus than the strain that causes genital warts, so I highly doubt that you passed them from your hand to your penis. However, genital warts are highly contagious.any type of genital on genital contact can cause you to catch them.so if you were doin some hanky panky without penetration you can still get it! But if you haven't done anything of the sort just have it checked out by a doctor.
