Answers:
unfortunately this is a serious problem. sounds like depression. you cant help her on your own. talk to your dad and your family may have to do an intervention. she may need real help from a therapist, but i believe that if your mom truly loves you and wants to work things out for the best for your family, you guys can overcome this. its going to be very hard, and she may have to be detoxed if it has become serious.
just make sure you are letting her know how much you need her love her and that you cant be successful or happy without her.

you father will have to man up and do more than what he has been doing because if things keep going badly, it will only get worse and may end up with divorce, infidelity, suicide, or even worse... talk to your mom and dad individually to let them know how you are feeling, then your family should all talk together so that everyone knows that everyone else loves them and needs them to be their best. communication can move mountains...

Jennifer, I'm sorry that stuff happened. Just keep giving her a lot of love. Maybe you can get some professionals involved so you can do an intervention. She's very, very depressed and in a lot of pain. There has to be something they can do like give her some medication for the pain, perhaps even some Anti depressants that will lift her spirits. Good luck.
