bitadeen is the best medicine for fungal infection.
My husband's doctor recommended Lamisil, but I hear it's really expensive.
I assume its tropical (skin) infection. Can use miconazle, check pharmacy, lots of creams for this. If swelling accompanies it, might need some other meds from doctor. Meds are only as useful as how you use it regularly/diligently. Can take weeks/months to cure. Very troublesome. Have to continue using them 1-2 weeks after the infection seems gone.

The best med: prevention is better than cure. Make sure skin area is clean dry especially after bath/shower. Do not share towels/socks etc. Avoid touching area that are wet all the time eg public shower floors.walls. etc

Internal systemic fungal infection is another thing.
Nystatin cream or powder works wonders, it is a prescription however. This is for topical fungal infections. There is a nystatin mouth rinse for oral thrush problems.
