My nephew has a slight fever, he wont eat or drink anything only a little?

Question:
what to do or feed him? the'yre going to a doctor maybe tonight to check if he has dengue.

Answers:
If the fever is mild and no other problems are present, no medical treatment is required. Take steps to lower a fever if your nephew is uncomfortable, vomiting, dehydrated, or having difficulty sleeping. The goal is to lower the fever, not to eliminate it.

When trying to reduce a fever:

(1) DO NOT bundle someone up who has the chills.

(2) Remove excess clothing or blankets. The environment
should be comfortably cool. For example, one layer of
lightweight clothing, and one lightweight blanket to sleep. If the
room is hot or stuffy, a fan may help.

(3) A lukewarm bath or sponge bath may cool someone with a
fever. This is especially effective after medication to lower the
fever has been given -- otherwise the temperature may go
back up.

(4) DO NOT use cold baths or alcohol rubs. These cool the skin,
but can often make the situation worse by causing shivering,
which raises the body temperature.

(5) Drink cool liquids, as tolerated.

I don't think it is dengue but, I have listed a website that may help you determine whether it is dengue or not. I have also listed a second website to help you out with your nephew's fever. I hope this helps you and good luck to you and your family.
the important isn't how much he eats but the quality of what he eats.
Try to feed him little by little and not too much to make him sick.
When we don't feel good we're not hungry, it's harder for kids because adults will try to eat something knowing it's good for them and kids don't care about that if they're not hungry they don't want to eat.
Just try little by little and another solution I sometimes used for myself was a milkshake because drinking is easier than eating. Put some fruits in it,milk,water... lots of vitamins.
Good luck ! Hope he feels better soon !
dont eat drink tea
